Product Description: A premium quality emulsion paint offering maximum protection on both interior and exterior surfaces. Suitable for new and previously painted plaster, cement, brick, stone, soft board and hardboard ceilings and walls, asbestos sheets etc.
Characteristics: Formulated with the finest, carefully selected pigments which are finely suspended in an emulsion.
Advantages: Provides an excellent hiding power. Quick drying. Easy to apply. No primer required. Available in a wide range of colors. Forms a smooth and matt finish. Ideal for both interior and exterior application. The product allows for “breathing” on new walls.
Finish: Matt.
Application: By brush, rollers, spray.
Thinning: Supplied ready for use on previously painted surfaces. Should be slightly thinned with water prior to application on new, porous surfaces and for spray applications. Stir well before use.
Drying times: Apply a second coat after 4 hours.
Equipment cleaner: Water.
Colour range: Various colour charts such as BS 4800 Kipepeo, Ambience Plus
Pack Sizes: 1 litre, 4 litres, and 20 litres.
Availability: From Kipepeo Industries Ltd Depot in Rongai and through Tawi Paints Stockists.
New Work: Carefully prepare the surface (refer to the appropriate Technical Data Sheet). Apply 3 coats Tawi Vinyl Matt Emulsion Paint.
Previously Painted Surfaces – Sound Condition: Prepare the surface. Apply 2 coats Tawi Vinyl Matt Emulsion Paint.
Loosely bound & lime-washed, cement, distempered surfaces: Remove all loose and flaking material down to a firm base, where necessary removing all previous coatings down to the original building fabric. Apply 1 coat Tawi Penetrating Primer. Apply 2 coats Tawi Vinyl Matt Emulsion Paint.
Spreading capacity: 11 – 14 m2/l depending on the nature of the surface.
